Fortnightly Challenge!
Hello everyone!! It's my turn to set the challenge this fortnight and I would love to see as many of you as possible, join in on the fun!!
Here are the requirements to play:
Please create a layout (any size) or card using the following techniques that are so familiar on my pages. :D
1. White space. LOL! Yep. There it is... But I want to see a nice big area of clean space.
2. Paint. You can swipe/splatter/ sponge it on. Have fun with it!!
3. Four (4) different patterned paper manufacturers!
4. Multiple photos (not required for the card)... and ...
5. Finally a banner!
Head on over to the Forum to upload your layout or card. Tell your friends too. Let's see how many entries we can receive this fortnight.
Good luck and have fun!!

What's Hot for April???
Wow, the time has flown this year! Have had such a busy start to the year, blink and it is already April. Any way I may have been real busy but not busy enough to stop me trawling the scrapbooking/papercrafting world for what is on trend for the month of April. There are a load of new ranges hitting our shores from the winter CHA trade shows back in Feb, I love so many, but because I have boys my faves are more limited..... luckily!
So what have I found? Well along with loads of tape and tags in their paper ranges, I have found that 3 colours keep appearing, greys, blues and yellow! These colours create such a fresh summery feel and would be great for all those beachy holiday snaps, now that the weather is getting so much cooler here (perfect for girl cave pursuits ie scrapbooking) we need something to bring cheer!!! (yes I really do not like winter!). So enough gabbing this is what I created using some of the new ranges as well as a sprinkling of the old scraps on hand:
The papers are a mixed bunch from Studio Calico, Lilybee, Kaiser and My Minds Eye.
The chipboard Title alpha, spinners and corner thingy are all from ScrapFX. I painted then while wet sprinkled with embossing powder called weathered wood (now this is very old stuff from when I used to emboss everything that did not run away) it gave the chippies a worn sandy look. Then I sprayed with the mists letting it "pool".
So there you have it a colour scheme to brighten up that winter chill!
Stay happy everyone, sorry I have not been around so much lately I promise to rectify that in the future!

Still have been unable to kick the strips of paper habit and the "confetti" look!

another BOY kit share..
hi everyone, just popping in to share another layout created with the February BOY kit... I've featured the cool chevron pattern but cutting out a couple of strips from the AC Amy Tangerine 'here and there' paper and also misting through a herringbone Crafter's Workshop template for the background..
I have lots of kit left, so hoping to share another layout before creating with the March kit!
happy scrapping :)
